Update - October 2018
The deadline for purchasing tickets from school is Monday 8th October 2018

Update - September 2018

What is Young Voices?

The Young Voices concert will be held at the 02 Arena in London with ourselves joining between 5,000 to 8,000 other children to form one big choir. We will sing songs, perform dances and also accompany famous guest singers. Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet is one for this year!

The Young Voices songs will form part of the Year 4 Music Curriculum for the first term and a half, so all children will be learning songs and routines in preparation for the big day.  We will also give you at home access to the concert material, so that you can help your child should you wish to do so.

Further information will follow closer to the time, however, the following information will give you a rough idea of the day:

  • We will all leave school by coach for the 02 at lunch time.
  • Once we have arrived we will have the opportunity to take part in rehearsals throughout the day and meeting the other schools taking part in the concert.
  • At 5pm we then have a break to eat our packed lunch/tea, and have some chilled time.
  • At 7pm we will begin to prepare for the start of the concert.  This will last approximately 2 hours.
  • After the concert we will depart back to school on the coach, aiming to arrive for around 10:45pm.
  • As it is going to be a late evening return, the children will not need to come to school until a little later the next day.

What do I need to do to secure a place for my child?
In order for your child to attend the Young Voices concert, we ask that you return the attached permission slip to school no later than Monday 8th October 2018.  While the concert itself is free for the children to attend, we must ask for a £12.00 contribution for the cost of transport.

Can I come and watch my child?
Yes of course!  All children will be leaving and returning to school by coach.  We cannot allow any children to be collected directly from the venue.  However, you are more than welcome to make your own way to and from the 02 to see your children take part in this unique experience.

Tickets are already on sale, at a price of £23.00 per person.

There is no limit to the number of tickets you may purchase, however, we have been informed that they do sell out very quickly. Therefore, we ask that you identify on the slip below the number of tickets you wish to purchase.  Please ensure you return your form with full payment by the end of the school day on Monday 8th October 2018.

PLEASE NOTE:  Tickets are only available through school and once we have reached this date we will not be able to purchase any further tickets.

What do I need to do now?
  1. Fill in the permission slip so we can secure your child’s place.
  2. Make a payment of £12.00 to cover the coach expense.
  3. Ensure you have indicated how many family and friends’ tickets you wish to purchase at a price of £23 each
